Yep I am excitied, my DD is engaged has been for a few weeks.
They are having their engagement party at the end off July but what I can hardly believe is my sister and her DH are coming to it we have not seen each other in over TWENTY years.
Now I wish I was forty lbs lighter.
I just can't tell my mother or she will not come.
Family don't you just love them.

Wow Kathy,
That is exciting news.  I am so happy for you.  I can't believe it has been 20 years.  I am suppose to see my sister this year too.  In August.  It only has been a couple of years since I have seen her, but it has been a long enough.
You are going to have so much catching up to do.  It is going to be fun for you.  I am really happy to read this.
Have a great day.
Hugs, Karen

Congrats, Kathy. :) I'm so glad you've had so much happy news all at one time! Yay for seeing your sis and for your daughter's engagement. Enjoy yourself. Once you get yourself all dolled up for the party you'll have a blast just being there.

Oh, this does sound exciting and I bet things will go great with your entire family.  Maybe some fences can be mended, too.  That would be wonderful and so wonderful for your daughter.  What a wedding gift that would make!
