If you could pick one place to live where would it be? In a city? Out in the country? Any particular state?
I'd love to live on acres of land, with a vast forest and wild animals like deer, a lake, lots of different flowers and trees and shrubs. A waterfall cascading into the lake. Minutes away from a beach with warm ocean water. And close enough to the city life so I can get medical attention. I always find nature so relaxing and nice.
Tonight, I am about four hours from the house on a friends property, outside with my trusty hp laptop, under a vast clear sky with starts shining ever so bright. I'm going to sleep outside tonight, under the gorgous stars. I am feeling better of course.

It sounds so nice about sleeping under the stars.  I got into that so much I forgot your question.  lol...
Where would I like to go?  I don't know, I have never traveled much so I haven't been anywhere.  But have talked about going to North Carolina to mine emeralds.  I am into gemstones.  And other rocks so that always sounded fun to me.  But they got poisoness snakes and spiders there, so I would have to be careful.
Good topic.

Hi Desiree, Im glad you are feeling better. Even though I hate the winters here I cant imagine actually living anywhere else but where Im at. I live in town and close to the places I shop. I dont like going out of my little house unless I have to, but when I do everywhere I have to be is close. I grew up in small, small town and I hated it. I guess Im a city girl at heart. lol

Desiree, I miss sleeping under the stars...hubby and I have slept on beaches, and in
meadows, years and years ago in our backpacking days.

There are too many beautiful places to choose from and this will be a dilema when
hubby retires. We both love the mountains and we love beaches. I have seen many
states and lived in 5, and each place offers something beautiful! Wherever we end up
will be beautiful and relaxing!

Hugs, Robin

For the most pasrt, I'm already there - Alaska. Of course, there is one other place I could definately see myself living peacefully, and that would be smack dab in the middle of the Redwood forest.

Glad to hear you're feeling okay and enjoying your time in the country under the stars, Desiree.

Hard to give a quick answer to this. I like the cool summers and milder winters that Scotland has - vs where I am - I even enjoy their rain! I like being in the small town I live in - because it is handy to everything. The only drawback is it has become commutersville central, and the prices are too expensive for me to afford on my own so I won't be able to stay forever here. My b/f is in the mid-south - and I love their early spring, late fall and winter - but their summers would keep me indoors for sure, plus the snakes, spiders, fleas and chiggers they get are too much for me. I guess I don't know the answer! LOL

If I could afford it, I would live in Hawaii. I love the climate, always around 85, never below zero, never above 100. No constantly changing barometer. You can live in shorts and tanks--I don't like regular clothes or shoes. I would live on the beach. This is my happy day-dream I think about whenever I get too stressed.

Ive lived in the city (seattle) and then in the country(had a 3 acre mini farm) and now just in a sleepy lil town(by hood canal washington) and I lived my life in the city when I was younger and tore up the town a lil bit lol but now I would pick the county again even if I do have to live a lil town(lost the farm during a divorce) :)
