Anyone ever had a problem like this? I don't know if it is coming from me limping cause of the old knee injury or it is fibro. All I know it hurts. I am drinking water all the time thinking it could be that I am dehydrated. I don't know.....what do you think?

Sheila you might have a potassium deficiency, eat bannas, drink OJ or V8.

I know Angie, I rattle when I walk from all the meds. I will get more bananas and see if that helps. Thanks for the help.

This was a problem I had when I first was diagnosed. It seemed to stop 95% of it after I added my various vitamins and other supplements/foods - and only flares when I'm low on food/vits, etc. I used to get crampy feelings in my calves, thighs and biceps all the time - especially if I'd stretch and reach for things.

PS: The others mentioned potassium, so I found this link for you about it. I believe prunes, bananas, potatoes, blackstrap molasses and milk are high in potassium, too.

I used to get bad cramping and then I started taking more calcium for osteoporosis and the cramping went away!  I checked it out and low calcium can cause cramping, too.  Hope you figure out what is causing your cramping.  It's not fun!

I suffer from the cramping as well. My FIL used to suffer badly and he had a great way of stoping the cramping.
I tablespoon of peanut butter. For me this works wonderfully.

I also have very severe leg/calf cramps but mostly at night.
I drink water, probably not as much as I should , but I drink some.
I guess I need to check into the potassium thing as well. :D
