If I change my screen name - will it confuse too many people?

I'm thinking of changing my screen name - but if I do I'm wondering if people won't recognize me anymore. LOL Thought I'd take a vote and see if it would be too much strain since we all have enough trouble remembering names.

Change it - or leave it alone?

Maybe put both for awhile? That's funny, I just last night started using my real name again in my signature. I don't want to always be associated with a painful feeling!

You are only allowed one screen name...can't do both.  You could be banned...Rule #8.

We did have someone change their name and it worked out alright but why bother?  We all know you as "THE Chick"!  turn

Sherrine - good point. I guess you're used to me now anyway. I'll leave it as it is. LOL @ The Chick.

I'd never thought of associating you with a painful feeling when you use Achey - I just think that's one tough mom who protects her daughter - and a lady who comes out with support for everyone. :D

Shirley - many thanks. I've not been here long - but I love ya to bits. :)

EML - no problem. :) My b/f started calling me The Chicken Princess because I care barely contain myself thinking of someday having hens of my own again. I figured I'd change it because I thought maybe it confused people - not knowing I love chickens. LOL (I'm so weird)

:D to Debbie!

Debbie, that is not so strange. The chairman of my tribe actually named me Duck Woman, probably because I have owned and cared for ducks in the past. That is my official name: Duck Woman. I was named in a special ceremony with smoke and tobacco and the four spirits and an eagle feather and everything! In our language it sounds much better.

I don't think I'm alone in saying that your name cracks me up. I get a kick out of seeing it on here, and I can definitely use all the laughs I can get. I love it. :-)

Well, now we know that you love chickens and the name suits you. :D

My sister loves Roosters.
She has her kitchen done in roosters and then has them sitting all over the house.
They live on a farm. First she loved the black and white cows and had them everywhere.

And no, you are not weird my dear.
Hugs!

Aww. You all really just made MY day now. *blush* Thank you all very much. Loved reading all your replies.

Sue, you're Duck Woman officially? How cool! I think that's wonderful. Which tribe is that? My b/f is part native American and loves to hear about such things.

Sorry if I confused anyone the way I posted one of my messages - my name isn't actually Debbie - Debbie that's Achey. I accidentally made it look my name when I was sending a smiley to her at the bottom of a message. Oops!

chicken princess, I love your name.  I have a small flock of hens, Araucanas and a few Rhodies.  The Araucanas lay blue green eggs.  Right about now I am pretty mad at them right about now.  They are eating up my zucchini's and are moving their way up the garden.

Keep your name for sure.  I love it!  I love chickens also.  Use to have some many years ago.  My cousin still has some laying hens and a few roosters that roam around his property.  I love watching them when we visit.

Thanks GSDgirl and Libby. :) That's really kind. You're both chicken fans - how cool. They are fun to watch, Libby, I totally agree. Very relaxing to watch them hunting for snacks in the grass and weeds.

Oh no, GSDgirl, they got into your garden? Ohhhh not good. Hope you can find a way to keep them out - maybe some cheap plastic fence like they sell at Walmart? I know both those breeds - from the catalogs I've poured over. LOL. Those blue-green eggs have to be just so cool - and nice big brown ones from the Rhodies. I've got my list narrowed down to three kinds - but it changes sometimes - I like Buff Orpingtons, Salmon Faverolles, and Mille Fleur D'uccles Bantams. All gentle ones that I can make into pets. (I used to make pets out of my parents meat birds when I was a kid - mistake!)
Why my username? It is real life nickname. I love chickens. Will have my flock of hens one day! :D .............. DX'd with Fibromyalgia, chronic hives, sensitivities and allergies, migraines with auras, tmj, and IBS. Not sure what else!
