My family and I went camping this weekend in NH.  It was fun!  However my husband had this great idea that we should go hiking.  He said that it was an easy hike.  Ya right!  It was so hard and I had a difficult time climbing up but the way down was even tougher.  Bad on the knees!   It is interesting to exercise and chase it with 2 advil!   Boy did I pay for it Sat night into Sunday!  The view was amazing!  I am still sore and tired.  I know that part of it is because I am out of shape but I think that the Fibro is also playing a part in me feeling achey.  Just wanted to talk since no one may not understand  but I know all of you do.  It was fun! yeah

Glad you had fun camping. But I've learned that when someone says "It's easy"

that is may be easy for them but not for people with Fibro.
Take it easy today and get some rest.
Hope you're not hurting too bad.

I am very tired today. I am supposed to take the kids to swimming lessons today but the idea of getting all three ready and myself (I need to get in the pool with my youngest) seems daunting. I feel lazy saying this. I think that we will skip today and I will take it easy and putter around the house.

Im sorry you are in pain right now, but I am glad that you didnt miss out on that beautiful view. Sometimes its worth the pain to see some of the beautiful sights around us. I agree with you about staying home today and puttering around the house. Praying you feel better soon.

Lisa, I'm glad that you enjoyed the camping trip...hike and all! Sometimes I think
we can miss out on things because we anticipate pain, but in reality some of the
things we forgo are things that help us emotionally as well as physically.

I agree with Shirley that " sometimes it's worth the pain to see some of the beautiful
things around us." Hoping you feel better soon. And you are right...we do understand!

Once you get to the pool, it might actually help and make you feel better.
If you stay home you might stiffen up and feel worse.

I know my doc said that water aerobics is good and easier on you .
