Sorry I'm posting so early, I got to go to bed in a few hours because I gotta get up super early.

Junior High or High School Field Trips. What field trip is your most memorible during that time frame? What all happened?

For me it was Kahneeta. On the way up, we stopped and watched a dolphin show which was fun to see. We then went to Kahneeta, which is an Native American Reservation. We even slept in teepees. Horseback riding, hiking, swimming, bbq's, shopping, etc. It was sure a lot of fun. I got moccassians as my sovenior (sp?)

We didn't have field trips in junior high or high school. And our class was too poor for a senior trip. That is what I remember anyway.

But I do remember planting trees in grade school. It was a lot of fun back then.

For our 8th grade field trip, we went to a resort type place with a huge swimming pool. I had a crush on a boy named Vinnie. I was so excited when he rode in our car for the trip.

We were swimming and they whistled for us to get out. As I hauled my body up the ladder, my bathing suit bottom didn't quite follow me. Much to my embarrassment, Vinnie was right behind me. I "mooned" him!

I was mortified and dreaded the long ride home. Fortunately, he was a nice guy and never mentioned it.

Oh wow, those embarassing times never leave us!! I have so many. Had so many crushes "from afar."

Anyway, what stays in my mind is French Camp in high school. We pretty much spoke only French all weekend, and I bunked with one of my best friends, so it was a lot of fun.
This too shall pass...

Mine actually took place in the 6th grade. Our entire 6th grade went to this camp by the lake and stayed for 2-3 nights (can't remember how many). It was one of the best times I've ever had. We slept in bunks, went canoeing, went on a "ghost story trail", learned archery, etc. I even had my first (and last, I think) taste of buffalo meat in my spaghetti sauce. For additional entertainment, we even had a midnight power outage which sent 25 screaming girls in my cottage into hysterics (which was great fun at that age, lol)

I have such good memories of that trip.
