I didn't go walk last night cause it was so stinkin hot here.
Called time and temp and it was still 86 degrees at 11PM eyes

So I did my Ab Pro machine for a few reps

I went to bed a little after 11 and I was wide awake.
I didn't want to take anything cause I had taken something sunday and monday nights. I hate taking something all the time.
I finally fell asleep then woke up around 1 AM

My arms hurt and I couldn't get comfortable no matter which way I layed.
I didn't get much sleep at all.

Then today, my right foot has really been hurting with a cramp/pain in the top of it.

Sorry, just venting. turn

Maria, it is 105 here with high humidity...just like a sauna. I'm a mall walker now.

Hope your flare subsides. Try to do some gentle stretching so your muscles don't get
tight and see if you can distract the pain watching something good on TV or do some
reading. Wishing you a great night's sleep and hope the morning finds you feeling well!

Thanks guys. :D

We don't have a mall close by
Guess I could've hit walmart or Home Depot. lol

There is a junior college here in town that has a walking track and I go there during the winter, but they are closed now.

I'm thinking that now that my car is paid off, time for a new mattress.
The one I have is very old and hopefully a new one will help my sleep some.

I live in Florida so talk about a sauna......!  It's still hot and humid in the evening and the mosquitoes are out, too.  Soooo, I set my alarm for 6 AM, get dressed, stretch, grab the dog and am usually out the door by 6:45 AM.  Nooooo, I don't want to go at that time but it is the ONLY time I can tolerate the weather in the summer for my walks.  The humidity hasn't risen because the sun has only been up a few minutes.  The temperature is usually around the high 70's then so that is good.

Exercising right before bed will definitely keep you awake!  You need to relax, read some, watch a movie...anything that relaxes you before you go to bed.  That's another reason why I take my walks in the morning.  This might be something to think about.  If I don't walk daily, I am stiffer and in more pain.

The heat has been horrible everywhere it seems......I saw on the news we have lost 2000 - 3000 cattle due to the heat.

I agree don't exercise at night, when I can't sleep I read or watch TV. The other night I was up and down, going to the bathroom couldn't figure out why till I realized I had pop, water and chocolate milk after 8 that night. I was thinking I was having an infection, duh.

EML~The ab pro is not your friend in the PM before bed nono It's so stinking hot here too (Michigan). Hubby and I went to the beach at Lake Michigan today, and the mosquitoes there were horrible. I have never seen them biting on the beach like that. And we don't even want to talk about what the humidity did to my naturally curly hair! turn

Maria, like was mentioned above, I think it is stinking hot everywhere including Pittsburgh. I didn't sleep very well myself last night........KellieJo mentioned the bathroom ordeal, well I happened to forget that I was eating fresh beets and thought I was bleeding out (kinda gross, sorry) but it had me a nervous wreck till this morning.

I was canning and freezing beets yesterday and had to take a jump in the pool, a cheapie 3 footer but it still gets ya wet and refreshed. Now to clean up the kitchen

Today I just feel reall nervous and jittery.
Didn't sleep well again last night.
Sister called and woke me up after midnight and I couldn't go back to sleep.

My BIL that is more like my brother is having surgery next friday to have his stomach removed. He has a rare stomach disease.
I know I'm just stressing about things and making it worse and that's why I'm so on edge.
We will be staying over night as the hospital is 2 hours away.
Then I worry about my dog. She is spoiled rotten and I don't normally trust anyone with her other than my mom.
So I will leave her at the apt over night alone, which I have done before...with a friend checking in on her a couple times friday and possibly saturday if needed.
So then I'm already worrying about her.

My EX boyfriend will be town in this weekend for our town fest and I'm really worried that I will run into him or he will come by.
I don't want to see him, not even a glimpse.
Then with my arms hurting and my foot too, I could just cry.

Then my cardiologist called to schedule my appt for sept and he now wants to do an ultrasound along with an MRA.
Along with my regular doctor appt and pap smear in that same month.
Guess I'll be getting prodded and poked from every angle and end.

Sorry, I know that my pains and problems are way less than most of you wonderful ladies here. Sorry for being a whiney butt.

Thanks Sherrine,
I actually think that my NOT walking of an evening is partly why I'm not sleeping. I think it helped me cause it tired me out. lol
I love Florida and if it wasn't for my family being here I would live someplace like that. :D

KellieJO;
I'm always up at least a couple times throughout the night to potty, that is just normal for me.

Thanks Missymissy:
I will do my Ab Pro a bit earlier when I get home from work.
We got some rain today and it is only 74 right now, so there is a bit of relief with the weather.

Thank you Shirley

GSDgirl
