Sometimes a positive attitude just isn't enough to help through the bad times.
Somedays CHOCOLATE comes to the rescue. Chocolate makes me feel better
when I'm down and in pain. It's my favorite "med". The only side effects are weight
gain and many of the real meds cause that.

I've been lucky to find a chocolate drink called odwalla protein monster. It has
24 grams of protein and 300 calories a serving. It has helped satisy my chocolate
cravings and is very filling. So chocoholics it's worth a try!

Libby, I found it at Wal-Mart in the juice- egg aisle. To be truthful, I'd rather eat
a candy bar, but I figure, the drink tastes pretty good, is really filling and high in
protein...24 grams. It is a chocolate, soy and dairy drink and it has curbed my cravings. I eat a good breakfast and drink the odwalla protein monster for lunch.
I'm still at my goal weight so it has helped me. Hope it works for you!

I'll have to look for this next time I'm at Walmart.  I looked at the Odwalla website and did a search for a store in my area that sold their products and nothing in my area came up.  I'm in Southeast Tennessee.  The Chocolate Protein Monster looks awesome.  The other drinks and the snacks looked really good too.  Thanks for the info!

What a great find. :) I'm so glad you found something that fills a lot of needs all at the same time. I was reading about chocolates magical and plentiful benefits just the other day - and it really can do quite a lot. So bottoms up! :D

(I'm waiting until I can eat better again - I'm craving a hot cocoa - cocoa powder, sugar and whole milk served up hot doesn't seem to bother me one bit,but sometimes chocolate itself will not sit right. *shrug* At least I get my fix though with cocoa.)
Why my username? It is real life nickname. I love chickens. Will have my flock of hens one day! :D .............. DX'd with Fibromyalgia, chronic hives, sensitivities and allergies, migraines with auras, tmj, and IBS. Not sure what else!

I love my chocolate I buy it in the biggest block I can get here after all my DD just loves it my DH loves the one with fruit and nuts in it. I don't care as long as it is CHOCOLATE I will eat it. But I have to be in the mood. Well any mood is good for eating it. And as far as weight gain goes my Endep puts more weight on me then anything else I have to remember to tell my Doc I will not take the increased dose he wants me to take I went up one dress size in a week. And I am hungry all the time.
give me chocolate it has the same effect as morphine on our minds they tell me. So that means eating more to feel happy happy happy.

Chocolate is my pain reliever too...endorphins?  I eat chocolate chips when the craving hits me  but your drink sounds more 'healthy'.  Yum!
