Well I had to see my Doctor last Thursday morning just to get a top up on pain meds, migraine tablets that type of thing.
Well I am in a flare so the doctor became cxoncerned about what tablets I need to help me cope with the pain[ it turns out he has fibro as well]
So here I was talking to the doctor about what helped me with the pain, it is more like seeing a friend then a doctor[my son feels the same way he tells me] What does he give me 5 perscriptions yes five which is fine remember I am inAustralia because I am on a disability pension I get my scrips for $5.40 each. He wanted to give me more but I do not want to mix them up like he was willing to give to me. i am taking meds for high blood pressure but that may have to stop because with out them my blood pressure is 110 over 80. but that is this morning in the afternoon it could be 160 over 110.
I think having a great relationship with your doctor is a must. We talk about a lot of things from the weather to what brand of laptop comuters are the best.
Kathy I want a new body a few sizes smaller my hair not so curly straight might be nice the color is ok but take out a few grey hairs them I can do without

Hi Kathy, Im sure glad that you have found a good dr. That sounds alot like my dr. that I have had for 17 years. He doesn't have fibro but he has alot of neck problems. It is so nice to be able to feel like you are talking to a friend instead of someone that thinks you are a number on a chart. I got a letter from mine though the other day that said he is no longer going to be working in the clinic. He is going to be working strictly at the hospital. I am hoping that the new dr. will be even half as compassionate and understanding as he was. Its either that or I am going to be making trips to the hospital lol.
