Raining today here, but I love it, because I don't have to drag myself out to water those tomatoe plants now! LOL

I woke up to a dog on my head this morning because we had a thunderstorm.  My six month old german shepherd decided she was scared of the storm.  I love storms and rain too.  We haven't gotten a whole lot of rain this year, it kind of misses us.  So every drop counts.

Hope that your tomatoes are happy.  I know that mine are and so are the beans, squash and cucumbers!!!

Have a great day!!

Hugs, Karen

I sat out on the deck with the cat this morning listening to the storm roll in from the lakeshore. I LOVE that! I always feel so energized when I hear thunder in the distance! Got things done outside the past couple of days, as we're in for a steamy, hot week.

Hi Desiree, I have an idea, I will send all the rain we have been getting up your way. Then I dont have to clean up 4 sets of muddy paw prints everytime I have to let the dogs go outside to go potty. lol

I miss the rain, it has been hot and dry here all summer! They said possibly some thunderstorms over the crest of the sierras, but unless they drop pretty low, we wont get them here. I do however not miss the muddy dog paws and cat tracks! They all use the doggie door and when its wet out it looks like i have a brown streak from my patio door all the way into the hallway!

Hey Fiesty, Shirley is sending me all her rain. So I'll send you part of it lol! You can have the thunder and lightening all you want, I'm um *ducks* such a chicken on that. Rented a room from a married couple who are friends once, the husband saw me one time just looking out and watching the rain then all of a sudden running up the flight of stairs and I flew into my room and craddled under my blankets. He followed me, cuz he was like "what the heck got up her six". He decided to ask me why I am hiding under my blankets and I go "the lightening is scary." I poked my head out a little bit, but you can tell he wanted to laugh so hard, but didn't. Instead he comforted me like a father would his child LOL what a friend I got. Anyhow, I just thought I'd tell you that so you all can laugh at me lol
