Hi All,
I woke up this morning with a splitting headache, I hadn't even gotten out of bed yet, I hate it when that happens. Does anyone out there also have vertigo and did it happen along with the fibro? This is my second bout since april last time it took two months do go away and it is really hard to manage to get anything done when you can't stand up without feeling like you are fallling over and the world is spinning.
Also have you noticed that certain seasons are worse than others for different aches and pains? It is comforting to have other people out there to talk to, I have so many questions and I never had anyone to ask.
May today be a better Day than Yesterday,

I don't wake up with headache but I do get them frequently along with a short of breath kind of feeling. Hope today is a better day for you :)

My problems started with severe vertigo, headache, and feeling stiff and achey in the morning. For the past month I've had 'vertigo' again, but I've also just found out (on Friday the 13th haha) that I have Bradycardia..so that's likely why I feel the 'vertigo'. I can't stand in the shower, walk two feet, or do anything physical without almost fainting or getting severely dizzy & completely exhausted. Makes daily life almost impossible right now..I'm a single mommy. Luckily for us both I have great family support.

I have a constant headache, so I consider it a real headache when it splits. tongue I don't know the answers, but I know the pain. wink My neurologist prescribed Fioricet for my migraines and it really helped.. I can't take it anymore because of my other meds, but it's definitely one I'd recommend-from my experience, if you're able to take it.

I'm not sure about the seasonal thing..I'm really sensitive to cold..so of course, winter is a bad experience. I get cold, tighten up, and my pain sky rockets. nono  This is why I'm especially grateful my sister and brother-in-law moved my daughter and I to New Mexico. Iowa winters didn't bode well!!

Fibromyalgia. Bradycardia/RBBB/Hypertrophy. Arthritis. IBS. Reynauds. Insomnia. Oh & sadly, Sarcasm-it's a terrible condition. =P

Hi Oneday, the only time I have suffered with dizzyness was when my blood pressure was running too low. Im sorry you are suffering from such a headache. I rarely get headaches and if I do they are usually tolerable ones. I will keep you in my prayers.

Hi All,
thanks, i went to an ear nose and throat doctor today who said i have to stop the one medication that helps me ( mostly with sleep, ocassionally with headache or other pain when it is over the top) for 48 hours before i do the diziness tests, ugghhh I am not looking forward to those two night. The Headaches are a big part of the fibro for me and pretty much the one thing that makes life unbearable , the joint pain i just live with the headaches oy.........
