I am so frustrated!  I took percocets last night for leg pain and now I am sore AND tired.  I have so much I need to do.  The house is such a mess.  I have made a to do list and I just want to climb into bed and snuggle with the cat.  I have a 4 yr old who wants lunch.  It never ends does it? eyes Oh well, just need to learn to deal with it.  I need to stop whining.  OK, whining over BUT still sore.

Take care!

I do understand your frustration. Sometimes it helps to get it out...venting is OK!
Hoping the day gets better for you :) Take it easy today, but try to get some gentle
stretching in, so you don't hurt more. ...a good day to snuggle with your 4yr old & cat!

Do only what you can do with the housework, Lisa...it can wait :)

Sorry you are having a bad day.  It's good that you make a to-do list.  Pick one thing and try to do it today....even if it is cleaning one corner of a room.  You really will feel better because you have accomplished something you can check off your list!

Crawling in bed will only make you more sore.  Yes, you probably will be comfy for a while but then you have to get up and you will have more pain and stiffness.  Remember, keep moving!

You've probably already heard this, but:

"Cooking and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow,
For children grow up, we've learned to our sorrow.
So settle down cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep."

.....I think from A. Nonny Mouse. Still makes me almost cry though my youngest is about to turn 21!

Achey, Thank you for sharing. I have never heard that poem and it is beautiful. Puts things in perspective!
Thanks,

Ouch Lisa. My day yesterday was the same. I hope you are starting to feel better and that you got to spend some snuggly time with 4-year-old and cat, like Robin said.
Hugs,
Sue
