Just curious to know if going without shoes bothers anyone besides me?

It bothers me. My feet will hurt horribly if I don't have on comfy footwear. Even around the house I have to wear slippers.

I started a topic a while ago on comfy shoes. You might like this:

I really don't go barefooted much at all. I find my feet do better when I always give them good support. If I go barefoot, or in plain unlined moccasins for a few hours, my feet will later ache mildly and I don't like that.
Why my username? It is real life nickname. I love chickens. Will have my flock of hens one day! :D .............. DX'd with Fibromyalgia, chronic hives, sensitivities and allergies, migraines with auras, tmj, and IBS. Not sure what else!

silly subject I know, but I've never been able to go barefoot; I walk like I'm crippled when I try.

I can't go barefoot, either.... not for a long time, now.  Gots to have the shoes that feel "like buttah!"

The most I go barefoot is in the morning to let the dogs outside and most of the time I will put on my slipons or slippers to do that. I also have alot of problems wearing regular shoes due to the fact that it feels like my foot is in a vicegrip after about 15 minutes. When I worked and was on my feet all day I wore mens slippers being we couldnt wear sandles or anything where the back was open. Slippers in the winter and slip ons in the summer now, its a must for me.

I go barefoot in the house without a problem but when I wear shoes, they have to be extra comfortable or they make my feet hurt. I can't wear flip-flops or sandals. I need sneakers or hiking boots.

I hate shoes, and if I didn't have chickens pooing all over the yard I probably wouldn't wear them outside either.  I live in flip flops all summer, only problem is that my feet are always dirty cool
