When I went to see my GP yesterday it was like it was a different one. I admit I was in a bit of a scock.
Where had the friendly GP I usually see, it was like he was very cranky and was taking it out onC me.
First it was how are your headackes? Cood questions they had gotten better, it was now my back that was playing up.
So then it started, you need to lose weight that is what is making your back hurt. Well he seemed to forget that I had FMS at this point I needed to hace a ct scan to find out the problem as too what I had done to my back.
Then it was the drugs I was taking he could not give me them any more. Now I was starting to panic there was a big lecture on drugs the same drugs he gsve me last time I saw him the day I refused drugs.  He had not finished yet what doc had I seen before him.
Come on I was so far out of it and the Doc who had given me the wonderful news that I had FMS has now died. I was so far out of it on drugs when I went to see the specilists I can not remeber their names and Colin [DH] has no idea and he took me to see them.
One of these told me I needed 10 weeks of CHEMO to get well. Lets say it made me very sick, then I discover they knew I had fibro all along and used me as a test subject. Yes I tried to sue them.
Back to the subject so I had to try to remember what Docs I had seen. I am going to ring and see him one day next week I have remembered a couple of others to add to the mix.
So I am not happy. Oh yes my DD told me to ask about pain killer injection my wonderful lady doc would give me one to break the pain cycle.
Well he told me no Doctor would give me one of these they did not have the training to give it in my spine. I asked why give it in the spine?
For your bad back was the answer, as my DH said to him it is just a a painkiller in the arm.
I was told that was what the ER was for. Come on what was wrong with him did he get out of bed on the wrong side I was his first patient of the day. In the end he gave me the meds I went in there to get no problem

You know I've had my Primary care Doctor go from one exstreme personality to another. I think I've finally found another Primary care Doctor who is not so .....weird.

Dang, that sucks! They don't seem to realize that they hold such power over our well-being - oh, wait, yes they do! Glad you finally got your meds.

...fibromyalgia, hearing loss, elevated liver enzymes, skin grafting (back), arthritis, scoliosis, lumbar disc damage, sciatica, IBS, migraines, tachycardia, cancer surgeries (face).......I take Nortriptyline & Clonopin daily, and Darvocet as needed
