Hope your Monday will be a good day for all. I was going to type "great day" but I hesitated. It just seemed a bit contrite considering the situation we are in but as I gave it more 'sink time' I decided that we CAN have great days!

What do YOU consider a "Great Day"? Is it a peaceful day at home, a day with someone you love or is it a day when your pain level is at it's lowest? Great Days for all of us are likely to be very different. For me a great day is spent with Hubby. This morning was absolutely wonderful. The two of us were outside together repainting/staining the deck. The weather wasn't too hot and the two of us had a chance to really talk and joke around without any interruptions. OK, just one when SIL came to pick up something. The two of us don't have to go anywhere or spend any money because quiet time spent with Hubby, when I have his complete attention and he's in a fun and chatty mood, that's what makes a Great Day for me.

What makes a Great Day for you?

Almost every day is a great day for me. It is a day where I am feeling content
with inner peace, pain or no pain. I can either be alone, be with hubby, family or
friends. I enjoy others, talking and laughing and I also enjoy the solitude of reading,
writing or painting and enjoying nature :)

A great day for me is when I feel that I have accomplished something like cleaning up part of the house or even going out and getting some shopping done. I know Im strange lol. But for me it makes me feel alive.

I think a great day is when I can get outside and do something such as walk my dogs. I am use to the pain. So unless it is really bad, any day is a great day. I am not choosy. Just enjoy the relief from the heat that we are getting and being able to get outside and walk.

great topic Chutz.

Like Robin, I have a lot of great days too.  A really great day is when I do something completely different than my regular days.  My daughter will be taking me out to dinner in a different community and to a restaurant I've never been to tomorrow night.  So that will be a really great day.
I've got tickets to a Tampa Bay Rays baseball games in three weeks.  I'll be by third base and only seven rows off the field....wonderful seats....and I'm going with good friends.  I'm taking my daughters baseball mitt, too, and maybe will catch a fly ball.  Now that will be a really great day, too!  Ahhh....life is good.

Any day that I wake up alive is a great day. turn

Let's see - great days are when the weather is somewhere between 40 and 72, rain or sun!

Great days are when I can eat well without my digestion complaining.

Having the rare day totally alone and without relatives making demands is a great, blissful day.

A great day is when I make progress writing. (wannabe author)

A REALLY great day is when I believe in myself enough to make progress on my new project.

A great day is when I can sit quietly and either spin yarn, or make something with it.

A great day is when I can overcome negativity and be positive.

Oh - one more - a great day is when I feel hopeful enough about my future to start planning again for it - day dreaming about my little house, with my little chickens, pygmy goats, donkey ... you name it. When I start believing it will happen, those are great days because it means I'm positive and pro-active!

Really like this topic. It's nice to read all of your answers. Good stuff.
Why my username? It is real life nickname. I love chickens. Will have my flock of hens one day! :D .............. DX'd with Fibromyalgia, chronic hives, sensitivities and allergies, migraines with auras, tmj, and IBS. Not sure what else!
