My rheumatologist prescribed it to me a week ago and it really helps with the sleepiness and memory problems. My brain is fully awake but my body still feels tired. I haven't stopped mid-sentence and said "wait what was I saying?" since I started taking it. Its definitely an improvement.

I take adderall, which is a similar. Dextroamphetamine. I use to take provigil. It worked well, but I got cold sores and diarhhea and a sore throat. I wish you luck on nuvigil. It is nice to finally get some help, isn't it? Best wishes to you.

I take it and it does work wonders for the energy and brain fog.... but, it causes me to have the most horrendous crash when it wears off!  Tears, irritability, restlessness, total exhaustion, etc etc etc...

Yes, I take it and its does wonders. I don't think I would be able to get up and go to work monday thru friday without it.
I try sometimes on the weekends to not take it because I've taken this for over a year, and sometimes I feel like I may need the higher dosage, but if I don't take it for a few days, then it does the trick once again.
