I was on Gabapentin for a few months and my doctor wanted to increase my dose to 600mg three times per day.  At that point I wasn't sure it was working, so I gradually decreased my dose until I was off of it.  I went about 3 weeks not taking the Gabapentin. I could hardly do anything.  Moving at all was extremely painful.  As a last resort I decided to restart the Gabapentin.  I am  taking 300 mg twice a day and I can't believe how much it is helping.  I am so thankful.  Hopefully it can help someone else too.
