Monica's example of being a clutz and ending up in pain:

So I go outside this morning (woke up already sore and over slept..so tired and achey I really wanted to call out today, but even thought I may be getting FMLA, I don't have any time left, so to call out would mean no $..can't afford that) I wore sneakers because my feet are bothering me today, I walked down my driveway, walked on the grass a litte bit..did not realize the grass was wet...went to get into the SUV...stepped up on the runway...slippery sneaker feet slipped and I was thrusted into the seat, but I came crashing back so that my back hit the right side of the seat the is sorta curved up. my driveway has a nice size incline so I was forced back with a pretty good amount of force.....so guess what that all means???

Yes...you guessed it...more pain. So I am here at work in additional pain, when things like that happen it hurts so much that I sit there with tears in my eyes from the pain...and frustration that I can't believe I did something to add to my pain. I have noticed that I do things like this much more than I ever did before. Thank You Fibromyalgia for making me clumsy in addition to everything else!! smhair

Hopegirl,

So sorry about your fall.  Gentle hugs.  Yes, it does seem that we get more clumsy when we are in pain or in a bad flare.  Hope you will get to feel better.

Hopegirl if it is any comfort too you I have been a clutz most of my life. lol That is why I avoid dresses like the plague. my jeans seem to help prevent skinned knees. lol

Hopegirl, that's why I posted the clutz question. Everyday is an adventure. I have to make myself focus on simple tasks like holding onto the hand rail so I don't fall down. Sending you a big hug!
