As I have posted I (and my friend) have been canning and freezing for 2 weeks, at least.  I have been able to do that without any problems till I sat down for the night.  I would get the usual muscle and joint pains.

Yesterday I had to run around for a big part of the day getting things ready for hubby's corporate meeting with his investors.  Today I am paying for it and I have more running around to do.  I honestly could lay on the couch and sleep for a few hours waaaa.  Not happening tho.

It will be interesting to see how I feel tonight and tomorrow.  Thanks for listening

Denise, You sucessfully distracted your pain! Sometimes I can get caught up in a project without taking breaks like I should and get alot done. I won't feel it until
later in the day and then my body really starts talking to me. There are sometimes
I can get away with it but most times I don't.

Hope you feel better soon!

Hugs, Robin

There is no set pattern with fibro.  I never know how I will be but I do pace myself so I don't get in a real mess.  I can have sooo much pain and a few hours later be far better, for no reason.  But, it does sound like you are doing really good to be able to do all that canning over a two week period!  That's fabulous.

I am do happy that you are able to get your canning done. I love reading about it Denise because I use to do a lot of it when I was younger. I remember all those jars upon jars of good food. Geen beans, tomatoes, peaches and even venison. Pickles, oh my God, the pickles. Enjoy these days, and yes, sometimes it hits us even when we haven't done that much. Just be glad for all that you have gotten done, and keep up the good work. Maybe you need a day of rest to recouperate.

Take care,
Hugs, Karen

I was getting worried that you all would get tired if me talking about canning but that is what I have been doing for 2+ weeks. Not done yet. I have tomatos in the dehydrator making sun dried tomatos. I still have to hang most of my spices and I also made dilly beans )dill green beans. Plus I have more tomatos cooking down. Today I did all the stupid little things that needed done----except house cleaning hahah. After this is all done I am taking a day to do absolutely nothing!!!

We are going to start making our strawberry freezer jam soon. We picked the berries in early july I think. Or late June. But we had to freeze the berries until we could get to them. That will be soon. He bought sugar and sure jell today. It isn't a lot of work really but we make a lot of it. Kind of repetitious. I hope that the rest of your canning goes well. Did you ever can apple pie filling? I use to have the recipe for that. It was so easy when you go to make a pie. All you have to do is make the crust. Then pour the filling in. Memories... Thanks....
