I love to rest on Sunday. Often on Saturdays we are getting chores done around the house but on Sunday we enjoy resting up for the coming week. What do you do to relax after a busy week?

For the two of us we love to sleep in. Most often I'm in the recliner by 5-6:00AM because I stiffen up and hurt too much in the bed. But I don't want to HAVE to get up. smilewinkgrin We love to go picture taking and turn it into a picnic...sort of a 'date' thing. That doesn't happen often and more likely we stay at home. If so then I like to tinker with small projects of my choosing...most often it's some type of sewing. In the colder times of the year I love to put a pot of soup or stew on the wood stove and that makes such an easy supper. Just spending time with my hubby is relaxing to me.

How do you spend a relaxing Sunday?

We usually go to church and then out to lunch. After that, it's pretty much a lazy day around here. We sometimes use the afternoon to catch up on things, but more often than not, we just chill, maybe watch a movie. Today, we are going to the apple orchard! :-)

We start the day with church, then sometimes do a little shopping. Our favorite place to go is the 99 cents store! You never know what you might end up needing. tongue Then we just hang around the house usually. Sometimes we might call up our close friends and say we will bring dinner to their house or order some pizza from their house. I like to cook, so sometimes I'll try a new recipe out on them.

Chutz,

For not doing anything, you sure do get a lot accomplished. lol... Sounds like you are the type of person who always has to be busy. That is so good for the mind. Have a fantastic day!!!

I go to church pretty often (hubby doesn't) but not always. Today I treated myself to a couple of hours wandering through ARC. I LOVE looking at all the bric-a-brac, searching for little treasures. Of course, tonight my body will remind me that this was WAY too long, but oh well. Sometimes you just have to let yourself do the insane, crazy things that you want to do....like walking slowly with a shopping cart - to ^#@# with the consequences!!
