There seems to be something wrong with the video starting right away so you may have to hit refresh to watch it.

Bascially, in the medical community fibro is misunderstood because doctors are uneducated and they are looking for something physical......which they can't find and many fibro patients are referred for mental help. Fibro doesn't show up on xrays, blood test, etc...... so often they refer patients not fully understanding it is not a mental thing.

He said they have found out that fibro in the brain actually shows neuron transmitters that conduct symtpoms of pain act differently and yes, they do have testing for that however many doctors don't have access to those test. That it is a real condition and not made up by neurotic people.

Well it's about time. Great! I only wish he had mentioned that there are lots of treatment options .... makes me wonder if he's got a sweet deal going with the makers of Lyrica and Savella (that's the cynic in me.) Oh well, baby steps ......

Lol, I don't know. I do know drug companies bombard doctors, which is good and bad.

thanks for sharing! Dr. Rosenfeld also endorses (for free) a whole food supplement I take called Juice Plus (fruits and veggies in a capsule) He seems very knowledgable.

Yes!!! I love Dr. Rosenfeld, but I missed this yesterday. I wish he had mentioned other treatments since those don't work for everyone, BUT I am so happy about the way he presented fibro. There is a whole viewing audience out there that just got an education. It actually even made me feel a little more comfortable saying that I have it. I'm not crazy..... just ask Dr. Rosenfeld. yeah smilewinkgrin

Thanks for sharing!
