There is not a spot that doesn't hurt on my body, but I am going to battle on. There is a good reason for everything on my body hurting my DD brought her wedding dress yesterday she tried on 12 before she found it. That was two dress shops we only had two and we had been going to travel to see others 2 hours by car I admit that was not a day I was looking forward too.
But she has the dress Her DD was there the ownwer was very imressed that he was willing to sit around for so long to see each of the dresses tried on. He was even looking for acceaories to wear with the dresses. Then our middle son who had finished work came to see his little sister in the dress to give his approval. The 2 nof them are very close and are going to marry brother and sister double in laws.
So now we have 8 months to the big day, time is going fast. Why so long to the wedding you might ask?
Well here you need to book a year ahead if not longer to get a venue, even for a garden wedding for example last Saturday there where 5 Wedding just from the bridal shop we went to. Next Saturday there are 3 in the one church they are being spaced out so as give time for each wedding party to be gone before the next one arrives.
So it is walking for me today as I am going to lose the two dress sizes I would lkie to lose before the wedding.

Kathy, sorry that you're hurting! I'm glad your daughter said yes to the dress
Being the Mother of the Bride is pretty exciting! I loved looking for wedding dresses
with my daughter.

Hope your walk makes you feel better and walking will help you lose those two
dress sizes for the wedding!

You've got a great attitude, Kathy, in spite of the way you feel. How fun, a wedding to look forward to! It probably won't be too long until I can do that, too (but then, these kids like to keep us guessing!) Feel better soon.

HI Kathy and I TOTALLY understand!

We did our 'extra' daughter's wedding almost 2 years ago and I think I'm still feeling pain from it. It was months of work. I made the wedding gown and the flower girl and bridesmaid's dresses. Then planned all of the food and decorations and purchased all of it being careful to save every penny I could yet still give her a wonderful wedding. I have no idea how I did it and I would imagine you have days that you have no idea how you will make it through. But we just "do it" and hurt later. Every ache and pain is worth it but...don't ask me to do it again...OK?

I do hope you get some relief. Make sure if you are doing extra walking that you warm up those leg muscles before you get going. Soak in a warm tub at night to keep them from knotting up. Do take care of the "Mother of the Bride" since it seems to fall on our shoulders. It is wonderful that DD is so involved. I had hubby cutting out dresses for me so he was helpful too.

Good luck and keep us posted...

Hi Kathy Im sorry you are hurting right now, I dont know how I will deal with my daughter getting married when that time comes. I got to the point awhile ago where I refused to go clothes shopping with her anymore because she is so fussy, so I definitely not looking forward to shopping for a wedding dress with her. lol
Good luck on the exercising and I will be in the corner rooting you on.
