As many of you know my MIL was diagnosed with leukemia......5 days of chemo for one week.......
She is weak as it is and has to use a walker now, so bear that in mind, I'm worried she will become weaker and need physical assistance to/from appointments.
Please to me what to expect, she also has GI problems too.

Kellie, I only have one day of treatment every three weeks and the one day wipes me out for almost a week. I cant imagine 5 days in a row. Im so sorry but I think chemo makes anyone taking it weaker and more than likely she is going to need physical assistance. You are going to need help with her, you cant do this on your own. Once again I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. I will be praying for you and your whole family.

God bless you Shirley for replying, I'm trying to get family to help, heck I don't know what is going on with that, no one is commiting. My husband wants to take time off to help but he has taken so much time with her being sick from the colon thing, I want him to keep the little time he has incase something happens.

I was thinking she is gonna get weaker, I told Bill if we can't do it she may need to go somewhere temporary..........I hate that thought.

Also know I am praying for you and your husband too, I think of you often ((hugs))
