Yes my wonderful DD told me this morning she was proud of me, because no matter how much pain I am in I am still going to do my walk every morning. Another reason is I ha ve dropped one dress size and am well on my way to the next size now.
Which is a bit of a problem at present, I need new summer clothes as in need. We live a fairly active social life, we are both leaders in our church which means being there evrery Sunday if posible, also every Friday we are leaders of a over 50's group which is strange because when we started we where not even 40.
Then there are other things like our volenteer work, I have done two days in the last week because of illness. I will not be doing that again.
So now I need to think about how to buy the nes clothes I need, we have decided that to get them a bit tight might be the answer.
Once upon a time I used to ave troujble keeping weight on I ate like a horse just to stay a size 8 [Here that was as small as I could buy for a adult] And that was after having our 4 children.
For me it is Endep that piles my weight on.
So now I am going to work very hard to get back to a good size for my DD wedding on the 7th May 2011.

well done, it certainly feels great to get rid of weight you don't want.
Stretch fabrics are very handy, and the undergarments that suck in any bumps you want to hide.

Well I decided to go a do a bit of walking yesterday afternoon. My DD pup decided to come along, she comes with me every morning, not a problem.
Until her mother came too, now they are small dogs, that is nice you say. Not in the long run bleep bleep bleep dog.
She does not know how to walk along with me, going exploring all the time. Now that would be fine she can go chassing the rabbits in the long grass that is next door. There is no one around 40 acres to run around in. Yea right the pup decided this looks like fun. When there is a problem as the dogs had caught up to me the pup when there is just the 2 of us she walks behind me, with her mother along she runs around and stops right in front of me. Now this is a area we use to run cattle in so it is not a lawn, uneven ground holes etc.
The pup decides to stop at my feet, as I try to not walk on her I put my right foot in a hole. Now you know what happened, my foot went into a hole and all I could think was OH no I am going to go to end up onthe ground waqiting for my DH to come and help me too the house. I managed to hobble home. Now my ankle is hurting I didn't hurt it too badly, at least the fibro for something the pain is not too bad.
I go home and sit down. Now my DD had to finish cooking the meal and the hot water system has decided for some reason not wark again so I am not going to sit in a hot bath.
But this morning it is fine well it does not hurt more then any where else in my body.
And why was I walking in the afternoon, chocolate yes I had some yesterday, well may be more then some. I felt guilty but as my DD told me its not like you just sat down and ate the whole block. So now tis morning I will go walking.
Then later it is off to put food in the house, tonight it is off to bed early to control the pain

Oh Kathy - glad you weren't hurt any worse! I rarely walk with my beagle because of what happened to you. I'm so proud of your weight loss. I have lost 54 pounds since April. It's fun buying new clothes - but one can go broke doing that. I buy mine a little tight too. Your DD sounds like a great person. You did a good job!
