I wish I had a way of checking my bp. It scares me when I have headaches and dizziness. Always something.

I know I always have it too. Just now starting to get used to it. Still not got a good handle on it as I have panic attacks too pretty bad. But the past few days as crazy as it sound..I will walk to the kitchen or wherever and get a lightheaded dizziness..start to panic. So ill stop in my step no matter where I am grab hold of something and say out loud..I will not let this defeat me. I do it several times a day and I do get funny stares. But id rather ppl think I'm going crazy then to actually drive myself crazy. Hope u feel better and find some relief.

Sheila,

I wonder if you are taking a med that may be contributing to the headache and dizziness. Sometimes ear infections can cause these types of problems.

Do you have drugstores that offer free bp tests? Some have the machine that takes your bp, and sometimes the pharmacist will actually take your bp himself.

It is always wise to err on the side of caution. It most likely isn't your bp, but you need to make sure. If nothing else, it will put your mind at rest.

Please let us know what you find out. I hope you feel better soon, and get to the bottom of your symptoms.

Peace,

Shelia, most of the fibro meds made me lightheaded and dizzy. Just a thought. The headaches are a whole nother story. Hope you figure out what is going on.

I really don't suffer from headaches (that I think is the only thing I don't suffer from). I have suffered from extreme anxiety and panic attack disorder for many years. I am currently on a combination of Effexor xR and Celexa in the morning and seroquil at night. It has seemed to help me pretty much. You might see if what your doctor thinks about this combination. Hope this helps!

I don't know what to think. Head hurts everyday. Dizziness is a bit better today. Just so tired and my stomach is a mess thanks to gastrtis, heital hernia, gerd and gastroparesis.

Falling apart. Ready for bed.

Is it usually BP?
I didn't know that.
I reguarly have dizzy spells and moments where I have to grab the walls surrounding me.
I've never put it down to my BP though.. It's a pain because I broke my BP monitor about 3-4 weeks ago!! Was good up until then, lol :)

Hope you manage to get something sorted x

Sheila, I was wondering if you have had your electrolytes checked recently. Electrolytes are part of the brain chemistry and if one of
them are off, it can cause dizziness and headaches. The tests are part of the comprehensive blood counts.

I have to take potassium chloride supplements to keep my levels in the normal range. Lot of our meds can dehydrate us, so it is very important to drink lots of water.

Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks everyone. Hedaches are still an issue. Dizziness is a bit better today. I only take one mediction for my stomach and it doesn't cause dizziness. So, I am lost. I go to the dr. next week for a physical. Gonna talk to him about it.

I also have dysautonomia. It had gotten better until recently, could be it again.

Always something.
