Woke up this morning feeling like I was beat up in my sleep. We have some nasty weather coming through and my sleep was awful. This has to be one of the worst mornings I've had yet. Hurt from head to toe and really tired. Guess it's a couch day (feels like everyday lately is a couch day). I just want to wake up feeling normal and refreshed and light on my feet so I can feel like I can accomplish anything. Good thing my dog likes to snuggle blush

I dread mornings. I have a hard time waking up b/c as soon as I stir I feel how sore I am, I try to go back to the oblivion of sleep.
I keep telling my dh to stop beating me with the baseball bat every night, but he doesn't listen, sigh.
I'd love to wake up one morning not feeling bruised, battered and stiff. At least it does go away after an hour or so, but it doesn't make gettign out of bed any easier!

That'll do it!  Feels like someone came with a baseball bat in the middle of the night, doesn't it!  But, once you get up, moving, and stretching, it does get better.  Hope you are feeling better now.

We just had a huge weather shift in Minnesota and the temperatures plunged significantly. Right along with it, I notice that someone pulled out that dog-gone baseball bat and started hammering on my back. Shame on them! Don't they know it's not nice to hit people? What do I look like... a baseball?? Ugh!!

What scares me that this has been going on for 8yrs, and I am starting to forget what that feels like even. I hope you wake up with a few less bruises tomorrow.....

My days use to feel like I had a fight, but it seems so much better now. I work real hard staying on the positive side. Usually after I walked the kinks out I feel much better. If I stay down to long I am worse. Heat and movement does it for me.

Morning number 2 feeling the same except I woke up with the migraine I finished yesterday with. Ugh! There are days when I wake up and I'm not good but it gets better after a bit and then there are days like yesterday and today that no matter what I just can't feel better. I try to move but that makes it worse or something else chimes in to the pain of the day. I do the best I can even if its only five minutes at a time. I miss working and feeling focused but I can only keep my fingers crossed that some day soon I will feel good enough to feel like I can accomplish something. Winter has always been a bad time of year for me with fibro. I just hope my dh and I can move south a bit soon, I really think it could be helpful. Thanks all for your thoughts and I hope everyone has a pain free day smurf

I know what you mean. Was doing well pain-wise for almost a week except for the usual morning soreness. Woke up yesterday and right away I could feel what kind of day it was going to be. Sure enough the temps had plunged and we got hit with snow. I could wake up, not look outside and know what the weather is like just by how my body feels. We should all become weather forcasters lol. Might as well make some moolah off of our pain :) Hope you feel better as the day goes on and get rid of your migraine.

Oh I hate that feeling, the baseball bat beatup..lol. I feel like that alot, as if I was left with a bunch of bruises all over. Honestly it is bad in the morning, and sometimes it's worse at night..depends on what I do during the day. It also feels like you have played football all day and got tackled multiple times lol.

I know what you mean. Was doing so well today, and just sat here at my desk for the past two hours and now feel like have been hit by the proverbial large city bus filed with cranky commuters.

I know what you mean about waking up to the headache you fell asleep with, and also feeling like you've been beaten by a baseball bat. I woke up like that this morning too, well I wake up every morning like that actually. Sometimes it's just different parts that hurt. LOL! To me it feels more like I got hit by a bus though!

I had to get up, get my coffee, have a cig, and take my Ibuprofen, then I sat for about 2 hours before I could do anything. No motivation whatsoever this morning!

Sometimes I feel like someone smacked me across the bottom of my feet with a 2x4 too. It's horrible when you can't even get up to go to the bathroom without your feet hurting so bad like that. It's like you can hardly walk!
Someday i'm gonna have a nervous breakdown - I've worked for it, I've earned it, and no one is going to deprive me of it!
