Hello Everyone
        :-)

Just wondering if any of you have trouble with eye pain and the eye muscles being very sore ? Recently i went to see a new Doc and with the symptoms i have been having severe weakness, migraine headaches ,pains in head, eye pain and eye muscles being very sore also he noticed when he look into  eyes with light their was a slight differential in pupil size which i think he called (Asymeterical pupil),he did testing for Myastenia gravis called Acetylcholine Receptor Antibody which came back negative i was thankful, but as i have done some readings occcular Myastenia gravis does not always show up with this test other testing need to be done to confirm Occular Myastenia Gravis  in some individuals but now i am thinking maybe it is all just fibro do any of you have all these symptoms with your fibro or should i go back to doc and ask for additional testing ?

Anna, I have dry eyes and my eyes feels so sore. Reading my fibro book it list several things with fibromites eyes. I know I have no moisture in my eyes. My eye Dr. tested for this. He places a piece of paper that registered the moisture. As long as I use the drops it makes a big difference. I had a chance to put moisture plugs in, but changed my mine.

Anna, yes, you can have eye pain with fibro.  Here is a link about how fibro can affect our eyes.  I hope this eases your mind.

Hi,

Gentle hugs to all and thank you for your response and Sherrie thanks so much for the article. Wow maybe this could be all fibro then but my eyes hurt so bad i do find myself wearing sunglasses alot this does help a bit this thing with eye muscles hurting so badly seems to make all the other pain that comes along with fibro more difficult ,but do any of you also feel lots of pressure behind eyes and ears and also my jaw bone really aches and hurts seems like all of this could be connected i also wondered if maybe it possibly could be TMJ my mom was reading about this and seems many of these symptoms i have are very similar also i notice when i open and close my mouth my jaw bone pop and crack alot.

Have TMJ checked out, too.  Many with fibro have that also.

We are very sensitive to bright light, also.

Yes and now I'm learning that my chronic sinusitis problem is probably myofacial pain from Fibromyalgia. It's too bad we all have to spend so much effort and money to rule out other things but we just have to, to be sure.
46F, Fibromyalgia, Vitamin D deficiency, Sleep Apnea/CPAP therapy, allergies/multiple chemical sensitivities, possible Chronic Fatigue & occasional IBS symptoms.

I take vitamins, Tramadol for pain, Flexeril as needed.
