Hi, and welcome! I locked the Symptoms thread because it was getting so long. Also, since it's such an old post, you might be missed and not helped. People on the Internet can still see it but hopefully they will come on and post their question.
Now for your question. I do not take anxiety medicaton. Many on this forum do and you will get quite a few responses from them. I used to take valium but got off it and learned to manage the anxiety. I recognized it for what it was....fear....and I don't have anything to be afraid of! So, whenever I would start to feel the anxiety coming on, I would dismiss it and would get busy and focus on something else, instead of the "symptoms" that anxiety can bring along with it. Anxiety is truly miserable and can make you feel like you are dying, but I'm sure I don't have to tell you that! I hope you can get a handle on this. I did so I know it can be done!
Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there. You will find the list of symptoms there, also! Other good starting links for you would be What Else Could It Be and A Thorough Explanation of Fibromyalgia. You just might see yourself there! All of the links are good so be sure to read them. Knowledge is power and with this illness you need to be your own advocate.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. Hope to hear more from you soon.
