I get these heartbeats which are slow but hard when standing or sitting down or changing positions in bed. Does anyone else get these? I can feel them from my chest.

Sam, I sent you a link about changes in heartbeats with fibro. If this still doesn't sound like what you are experiencing. Please get yourself checked out! It's better to be safe than sorry. We are not doctors here.

When I first started experiencing my heart palpitations, I went to my doctor and he did an electrocardiogram, an echocardiogram, an ultrasound of my heart, checked my carotid arteries, and had me wear a monitor for 24 hours. I was given a clean bill of health concerning my heart and now I don't worry about it.
