Hi , I am 35 Male. for the last 1 month my legs feel like I ran a marathon with back & neck pain , low grade feverish (which never goes beyond 99.5) and burning sensation. I also feel fatigue and pain in my arm and fingers even if i perform simple activities like combing my hair. I am getting worried, can some one help me . Thanks

i missed to tel you that i had the same symptoms on Feb 15 2017 and same blood tests(all are normal) were done along with a scan and they found 4mm nodule in my left lower lung. After a month by april 10 2017 all these symptoms went away and i was fine till June 10, 2017. once again on June 10, 2017 all started again. I did not had cough or loss of weight anytime. Do you see anything that i need to worry about ?? thanks

Hi, Mike, and welcome! We are not doctors here so we can't tell you if you have anything to worry about for sure. I can tell you that many of the symptoms you mentions happen with people with fibromyalgia but I also will tell your would take care of that nodule on the lung. That isn't fibro. Hopefully you have done that already.

There is no good test for fibro. They have to rule out other illnesses that have many of the same symptoms...things like lupus and Lyme disease first. If all comes back normal, then a diagnosis of Fibro is usually given. I would suggest you see a board certified rheumatologist who treats fibro patients. There are still some doctors out there in the Dark Ages who don't believe fibro is a true illness. Ask before you make an appointment.

Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there.

Do let us know what you find out because we do care about you. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. Hope to hear more from you soon.
