Here it is already...Christmas Eve, can you believe it? I am anxious to smell the turkey cooking tomorrow. That always makes me smile.   tongue  I just refuse to be sad and mope around. In a perfect world we would all be together tomorrow celebrating, opening presents, laughing, eating, and just enjoying each other and the day. Since we can't do that we'll resort to plan B which is "Wishing you all a blessed Christmas day." Somewhere in the recesses of your mind no matter what the circumstances are in your life just remember that you are loved. There is no greater gift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas Shelly, So glad that you are getting the spirit. I am trying. I know when my granddaughters start opening their gifts tomorrow I'll be smiling. And you are so right! There is no greater gift than love. I'm sending my gift to all of you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas to everyone! I am also looking forward to my family all being together, and watching them all open their gifts. I am excited for my grandson's first Christmas. Today I have been taking time to look at the Christmas' gone by, and I realize I really have had a lot to be thankful for. God has really blessed me with my three wonderful children and the people he has brought into my life. As you have already said Shelly, there is no greater gift than love.

I hope everyone has a very happy day tomorrow. God bless you all.

Merry Christmas to you, too, Shelly, and to all who post here.  Or Happy Chanukah, Joyful Kwanzaa, if those are your holidays celebrations.

I was feeling a little "down" today, until my neighbor/helper stopped by with some homemade brownies and some chocolate biscotti.  Turns out there was a large box by my door, delivered by Priority Mail this morning.  The mailman never knocked.  It was from my oldest friend--we met in 10th grade about a hundred years ago, and have remained friends ever since, although she still lives in NY and I haven't seen her in over 30 yrs.  For the past 4 Christmases, she has been sending me a box of gifts, large and small...a virtual treasure chest.  It's the most fun opening everything.  I really wasn't expecting a box this year, as she went on a trip to Greece and the Galapagos Islands earlier this month with her oldest daughter.  One of the things she gave me is a beaded bracelet from Greece that is beautiful.  She even included toys for my cats, although they really are past the playful stage.

Right after I'd opened everything, my "gal Friday" and friend, Ann, came by with a huge amount of food from their family dinner.  There's so much ham, I'm freezing most of it.  I'm taking bites of pumpkin pie as I type this, and trying not to overeat as I will regret it for days if I do.

I feel truly blessed and so thankful for all of you here.

Love and hugs,
Connie

Merry Christmas to Everyone

May each of you experience the joy of the season. I am so thankful for each of you. You have provided support when I needed it. Encouraged me when I needed it, and allowed me to express myself when those I am closest too get tired of hearing it. Remember during this joyous day how much you are appreciated.

Thank you all and may each of you have the merriest of Christmas day.
