Hello,
Sorry, it has been awhile since i've written but, Will has been sick. sad I thought he was doing better last week but, Monday he called and asked if I would take him to the ER as he was having chest and abdominal pains and is having a hard time shaking this flu that he has now had for a month. He had a chest x-ray done and DR. said he had bronchitis that was developing into nemonia. He's been on antibiotics for 2 days. Well, he called me this morning say's he's not feeling any better matter-a-fact he said he's been throwing up alot of mucas and bile and that there feels like something is stuck in his chest and gut. I of course have a call out to Dr. again and I've called the ER DR. and left a message with him also, if anyone can give me advice for him as to what to do it would be appreciated. I wouldn't be so worried but, he never complains unless he is real bad. I will try and get caught up on all the post but, for now I have to get caught up on my work as this is my busy season. Alot, of weddings going on and having to drop and run when Will calls. Mom's job is never done! Right! Most of you know what I'm talking about! I'm Thankful for all of you as I don't know where else to turn! You are in my thoughts and prayers daily!

Toni, I am so sorry that Will is sick. Are they sure it is the flu? Although he could remain weak, etc. I find it difficult to believe he actually has a flu virus lasting one month. As far as the bronchitis goes I am not surprised because his immune system is so compromised. Usually antibiotics take 24-48 hours to START working. Vomiting is sometimes associated with all the mucus that has been swallowed and or drained into the stomach. It creates havoc and therefore we get nauseated and start vomiting. Vomiting is our body's way of getting rid of unwanted stomach contents and frequently people feel a little better after getting rid of all that mucus, plus as the vomit comes up it also pulls mucus out of the throat. The bile could be from several things. An excess amount of acid is produced when you have all that mucus to actually try to digest it. Thus you have bile when you vomit. That is just one explanation and believe me there are several. It's possible that the antibiotic is not working and he needs a different one, OR the antibiotic is making him vomit, There are several things it could be. He HAS to drink LOTS of fluids tho. He will get dehydrated quickly and get sicker if he doesn't. I would try to answer in more detail but I am not there to see what is going on so it is hard to answer intelligently. I hope by now that the Dr has called back and he/she has followed up on everything. Keep me posted.
Hugs, Shelly

Goodmorning All, Shelly thanks for the reply actually as I was reading your post and Dr. called and basically said the same thing! Also, said he needs to eat before he takes his antibiotics. From what the ER nurse put on his check-in file he has cold/flu like symptoms. I feel he's had a sinus infection with viral step and it has drained inside which has turned into bronchitis. Thank God, we caught it before nemonia tho. I know with his immune system being shot to hell it is going to take him a little longer to get better. I get so scared because I don't know what to do for him! I know we haven't begun to see what sick is yet and  I'm not ready for that! Hope All is doing Well! You are in our Thoughts and Prayers daily!!! I'll try and get on soon!
Huggs and Smooches,
