Hello all..... our Administrator has added a new rule for our forums. It's number 19. So please everyone go over the Forum Rules again. Also at the bottom are some good ideas for new members when posting for the first time. Thank you and take care.

"Bump" is an expression used when one wants to call attention to a post that needs paid attention to!!! Moves it to the top of the board.

I'll admit, I did not read up on the new rule. but will be studying up as soon as i get mr. wonderful goes to bed.

but in other news, Jerry is pacing the grounds...this is great news. God help you when he starts being a task manager for all the little things he wants to do, but can't do, but still wants done. privately i say, "Enough already, I get that your feeling better baby." But on the outward I say, "okay, that's done. Can we take a break?" needless to say, i'm hitting the bed early tonite.

joann, thanks for keeping tabs...we good, and it sounds like you guys are too! we started some muscle strengthening exercises today...nothing to big, but really makes you get some juices flowing...we have a ways to go, but just doing some has helped. super easy, and we do them at his pace. things like lying on his back and doing butt lifts and leg lifts. three reps per leg. let me know if you want more info. the stronger the better when he gets his transplant!! NEVER GIVE UP!!! In our eyes, You and Jerry are the posterchildern for this ideal!!!

love and light, rainbeau

Rainbeau  It was glad to hear from you.  I know exactly what you mean about doing everything for them.  I got to a point I just lost it.  Jerry has this perfectionist mentality.  Its was one thing when he did things for himself and quit another when I have to do them for him.  I told him I don't think the same way he does.  Everything has to be done perfect and it just totally wore me out.  That is good about the exercises that Mr. Wonderful us doing.  Jerry's muscle mass is totally gone.  I got him one of those stretch things and he tries to walk some every day.  He doesn't get too far.  I noticed tonight that his feet are swollen.  He has never had swollen feet.  He has had bad problems with acites.  They have had to lower his dose of dieretics so I suspected it was going to happen.  What is the diagnosis for Mr Wonderful.  Have they told you anything yet??  Hang in there.  If you get too tired hire a trainer!!!  Hire everything you can.  Mental exhaustion is tough enough to handle all by itself!!  Keep us posted.
