Connie,           It is thought that I have had hep c since I was about 16 and now I am 43.
That treatment would be the treatment that is out now with additional med from what I understood him to say. He told me and my mom both what the name of it is and neither one of can remember.. Thats pretty sad I take someone with me to help me remember and neither one of can remember.. He also said that It could even be a placebo that I was getting..That would stink

Sooner,

I'm guessing the treatment is Peg with a protease inhibitor. I try to follow all new treatments myself. So you will still have all the side effects & then the unknowns. If it is only 2 years away from approval (which I would double check as I've not heard this) for sure wait.

Just my $02 worth.

Best,
Cary
