OOOOOOHHHHH i am just so angry I want to scream

Hi Everyone, wouldnt you know my mother board went on my puter. I was called Dell at 3am freaking out, but alas they sent out a tech within 48hrs and all better now wheeew. PG you made a comment about telling my work maybe i should leave him home in a coma so I could be in on time, I already made that comment it was like a "FART IN CHURCH" weeellllll Nothing will change then. I am so dissapointed about this whole situation, I am watching the Olympics and Home Depot hires these athletes, pays them full time benefits, full time pay and they only work 20 hrs or less. We volunteer to build homes, parks and playgrounds... give back to the community. Always donating to charities talk about doing right by our customers and associates. Yet no tolerance for the ones taking care of family members. I cannot replace my job at what I make and it is a much needed income. I need my benefits as I get a little leary of my kidneys, I had part of one removed due to renal cell carcinoma. My yearly test are outragously exspensive and I still may need my left shoulder worked on, already did the right. My girlfriend works with me and she just got called down for her attendance also, she is taking care of mom with alzeihmers till they find a placement for her, we are just so screwed. I took double paxil for a few days to get through the wanting to commit murder stage which came right after the days of crying. I am just feeling so overwhelmed Doug is depressed over being so sick and feeling like he is ruining my job during this economic crisis in this country. He is afraid to go to sleep most nights now cause if he doesnt wake up then I have to call in and we dont know which time is the final straw. He is sad and I am just getting angrier every day and afraid to go to work as I might snap. MY other friend works with me also and she told our direct boss she will walk in a heartbeat if they try to get rid of me. This so is not the Home Depot I started with years ago, when associates really did matter. I have been there so long I can work all departments except kitchen design and electrical. I was power tool and power equiptment specialist I sold more garden tractors on my own than the whold garden dept. together...... ooohh but this just doesnt count, I have regular customer that dont shop unless i am there and I dont even work the floor anymore. OOOOOOHHHHH i am just so angry I want to scream!

Sue I am sorry to hear that it is Home Depot that you work for. It was my favorite home improvement store. Looks like I go to Lowe's from now on. And you can bet that I am going to tell all my family and friends too. I work for a big company too. For big companies it's all about the bottom line. Forget about the employees......anyone can be replaced.

I think that I will email them and tell them that since they treat their employees so shabbily that I am taking my business elsewhere. mad

Sue, I just can't believe that an employer that you have given so much to is treating you and others this way. I guess I can believe it. My dad worked for a company for about 30 years. They decided to let all their long time employees go so that they could hire new people and pay them way less. They ended up asking my dad to come back as a subcontractor for a little while to train the new people because know one else there knew what they were doing.
