Hello All,
I haven't posted in awhile as I have been very busy at work with weddings! Just want everyone to know You are all in our thoughts and prayers!
Update on Will, well I'm going to be a grandma. The happy couple is going to get married on Oct. 25th and baby is due on Will's b-day April 8,2009.
Health wise he looks good and he's finally gaining a little weight. He's really happy and on cloud nine. His apt. is for Dec. at Shands Hospital which will tell us more but, for now all is well! Dr.'s know Anna is expecting and she has a Dr.'s apt next week so they are gong to keep close eye on mom and baby her liver enzymes are normal so that's good and Dr.'s say after baby is born within 12hrs baby get's shots. The Dr'.s are being very precautious and consider her a high risk patient. They of course don't know the risk of the med's or if there are any side effects but, they are going to monitor her closely for a happy healthy baby! That's all I really care about! Other than that it is life back to normal for now.
Hope all is doing well, and for those of you that have gotten your transplant God speed for a healthy recovery! Congrats! Everyone stay well and I will try and catch up as soon as possible or when I get news!
Huggs and smooches to All!

sad  Hello All,
Well it has been 1 yr. that We found out Will would be needing a liver transplant! All your prayers and thoughts have been answered as Dr's. said by end of 2008 he would need the transplant to live! Well, doesn't look like he's even going to be on the list this year! Whew!!! I'm thankful he's doing well right now! So why the sad face? Well, I took Will to the ER as he was having real bad chest pains and vomiting since 6:am. Dr's run all sorts of labs, chest exray and heart monitor Dr. ruled out infection, nuemonia and heart attack said his lungs look good and basically said it is just emotional stress. His ALT and AST look about the same from June. His fiance is about 8 weeks pregnant and the Dr's. are wanting to do an Endo on her as they are very concerened about the baby! I'm sure that has got Will all stressed out! I know it does me! Anyway just wanted you all to know and hopefully you could wisper a little prayer that mother, baby and Will, will be okay! I know GOD has his reasons and I'm sure that what ever happens is meant to be! I can only pray I have a happy, healthy grandchild or children as there possibly could be twins. Hope all is doing well! Take care and know you are all in our thoughts and prayers as well!

Toni, it's good to get an update from you!  I hope that Will only has stress, though that can be debilitating in itself.  What are the doctors' concerns about the baby?  I hope it (or they) will be healthy.  Is the mom eating nutritious food?  The first 3 months are really crucial.  She should also be taking folic acid to prevent spina bifida in the baby.

Take care and keep us updated!

Hugs,

Connie
