Hi, Closure. Liver enzyme levels do not always reflect what is going on in the liver. I have hep C, cirrhosis, and have had liver cancer. My blood work done last week showed normal liver enzymes except for one...which was only 3 pts. above normal. You need to ask your doctor to do a specific blood test for hep C, if that was not included in the blood work you recently had.
Closure, at least you have one answer. Is NAFLD non-alcoholic fatty liver disease?
Let us know the results of your hep C test.
I will be praying that your hep C results are negative. You really don't need hep C, on top of everything else you have going on!
