I take the 3 mg, but am a bit heavier than your mom. Is she very short? I'm just under 5 ft. myself. Anyway, this sleep aid is a natural hormone and not a drug. I've found it to be very helpful in getting a better sleep. My primary care doctor recommended it to me, as she won't prescribe sleeping pills.
