Hello, prayers, and welcome to the forum!  Usually any type of liver disease would elevate the liver enzymes, but not always.  Blood work is not the best indicator of what is going on with the liver.  I have hep C and have had liver cancer, and my liver panel, while elevated, was never astronomical.  Only a biopsy can really show the extent of disease.  To rule out cancer, a CT scan with contrast or MRI with gadolinium are the best tests.
