Ultrasound nrml gallbladder,post biopsy 2 days later showed an distended gallbladder. What's it mean and why wnt frm nrml to that

Teababy, I'm just guessing here, but it could be that the gall bladder was a bit inflamed from the liver biopsy.  The gall bladder lies just beneath the rt. lobe of the liver--actually attached to it.  You might want to ask you doctor about this discrepancy, but I doubt you have anything to worry about.  If subsequent ultrasounds still show distention, there could be gall stones.  It's always best to check with your doctor if you have questions about your test results.
