Its been a while since I have written and just wanted to give everyone an update.  I have been trying to catch up with posts and seems there are several new members.  They discovered I have progressed to having varicies alnog with ulcers.  I have been extremely fatigued for a while ( the part of this disease that it truly the hardest for me to deal with), and seems I have slept forever.  My doctors have started me on nadol a blood pressure medication for the varicies and paxil since the news that things have progressed fairly quickly in a year it really got me down.  My concerns at this time are that my blood pressure normally runs really low 90/60 and the medication seems to make me dizzy.  Has anyone else ever had this experience?

My oldest son is home frome college this summer and that has been a wonderful treat.  I have had some energy for the last couple of days and have decided to do some remodeling.  Hiring most of it done but am gonna try my hand at some creative things.

Hope everyone is doing well.  Have missed you all.

Good morning Lucy, so glad you checked in. Sorry that you aren't feeling so well. I agree that 90/60 is kind of low. Maybe your body just needs to get used to it or maybe your blood pressure meds need to be adjusted a little. Call your doctor and see what he says.

Glad your son is home with you. What kind of creative things do you do? I like working out in the yard the most. But there always seems to be so much to get done in the house. With me commuting now it's getting harder for me to keep up with everything, especially this forum. I do check on it a couple of times from work everyday but when I get home I am just so exhausted that I just want to veg or go straight to bed.

Good luck with your remodeling and keep on trucking.........lot's of thoughts and prayers.....

Hi, Lucy!  Good to hear from you!  I agree with PG about the BP med.  Call your doctor.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger with the sleeping.  I've been doing a lot of it myself.  My energy level is about zero these days, although my blood work and CT scan in May were "okay," meaning stable for me.  I suspect the cirrhosis may be worse.  Nothing I can do but sleep when I feel the need and am able to.

I'm glad that your son is home for the summer and that will surely lift your spirits.

Keep us updated!

Hi, must be in the air. Fatigue, fatigue, fatigue !!

Hang in there Lucy. Glad your son is there to help.

I was doing so good myself and then suddenly POOFF !! I spent 4 days in the hospital a few weeks back. Came down with some kind of bacterial infection ( they told me they did not know what it was )Ran 104 fever for 3 days. Before my vacation at the hospital, I suddenly was feeling really fatigued and achy and BLAH !!! Hadn't felt that way in about 4 months. Still do. I sure hate this HEP C DRAGON !!!
My blood pressure is normally very low also. 96/70 or there about. Well maybe its not normal considering that I have had HepC for over 30 years

Anyways, I think there is a storm coming. It is really still outside and looking nasty. Dog is extremely skiddish. skull redface smhair

Hi All

So glad I am not alone with the fatigue, although I am so sorry that anyone has to go through this. I do have a call in to the doctor about the dizziness and "the tireds". Hope everyone is doing well and that the spring has brought everyone a renewal.

What Spring?  It's already summer here--high 80s and up to 92!  It will be that way until Oct. or Nov.  cry
