I can't believe how long it has been since I read any post or wrote one. I think about this group all the time, pray for us all..all the time.

A quickie from me...other than the terrible aches of muscles and joints that DO NOT get better, (but worse) I actually am doing pretty darn good. Bloodwork looks great, moved treatment start to when the new stuff comes out because right now I am doing OK. Got the OK to go have 2 hernias fixed on August 10th at Mesa View Hospital in Mesquite nevada. Dr already has in notes that i will spend the night for precautions..

Now if i could just lose some weight !!!!

Ok enough of me.... How is everyone doing??? And yes I mean everyone. Anyone head from JohnCT?
Please catch me up. I do pray constantly for us all, so I hope it works
Made up my mind, I am not letting that darn dragon keep me down all the time like it wants to nono

It's so good to hear from you Karen. Sorry to hear about your muscles hurting so bad and your hernias. But glad you are doing well otherwise.

We haven't heard from John since his one post after he got back from his family in Arizona. We are worried about him. I need to call him. Butterfly3 has not posted in a long time either.........I am concerned about her also. But we have oodles of new members......

My brother was just diagnosed with cirrhosis recently. He was in the hospital over 3 weeks and was just moved to a convalescent hospital today. His prognosis doesn't look so good. He also has emphysema so he isn't a candidate for a transplant.

Take care and keep us updated on your surgery.

Thoughts and prayers........

Thank you Karen, you and all the others have already been a big help. Just being able to talk with the members who realize exactly what liver disease is and what it can do to someone's body is priceless. I went through my husband's family with them ignoring his illness... to my family with my brother illness who don't know and/or don't want to face that cirrhosis can cause most of the symptoms that my brother is experiencing now. I have to explain and reexplain everything to them individually. But me being the little sister ......it's hard to get them to realize that I do know what I am talking about.

Anyways Karen, you are an inspiration to me and to others.......I take my hat off to you and all the other members that are fighting this disease and still trying to help others.......my thoughts and prayers are always with the wonderful members of this forum.

Karen, it's very good to hear from you!  I am glad to hear that you are doing relatively well and still a fighter!  Good luck with your hernia surgeries!  I had a couple of those, if you remember, and am having a hip revision on Aug. 12th which will take me offline for at least a month.  Not looking forward to it, but it has to be done.

You will be in my thoughts.  Hope you have a quick recovery from your surgery!

Hugs,

Connie
