Richard ; Sorry to hear your wife is ill. It is my view that most of our ailment originate on that ring. My brother Richard passed away in march of kidney disease (which they tell him all started with a disease he had at the age of 7, called pupura Sp.) He was he was 63 but suffered from kidneys and BP ALL That time
I have tried doing some of the research on Lupus for some time. I'd like to know about it because one of my sisters has had it for a very long time the only thing i HAVE gotton out of her is that it is hereditary. But you can see her physical changes, after stabelizing her weight for some time , now it goes up and down. She has lost all of the hair on the top of her head thank goodness for her excellent hair dresser, she does have arthritis but not RA which is Autoimmune like lupus. Her finger tips are always blue and cold. She lives in Denver and at times has had to wear sandles in the snow because her toes are so raw and sensitive. But she still insists on working even though it is'nt really necessary. Maybe it gets her mind focused on other things.
As for me I have the illusive unknown liver disease . I may be able to help in some way. Liver disease does affect the kidneys. And I have at lease four types of arthritis. Not RA.which is the autoimmune one. Take care If nothing else we can lend an ear.
