Back to Dave's & my story. To make it short he has a 9 cm tumor in his liver and spots on his lungs. The Dr. spoke about an oral chemo that won't cure him but give him some time, he didn't say years he said months. Has anyone gone thru this or does anyone have some hope to give us? I have never in my life been so scared, I keep sleeping just about every other hour, I'm exhausted, I think my body is in shock. Please, I would appreciate any info. or just a lot of prayers. Thank you every one, I know you have problems of your own and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers also.
Feeling alone and scared!

Hello Mary1 and welcome to HealingWell. Please don't feel alone...........you aren't anymore......you have a whole new cyber family here for you. My husband developed liver cancer also and it was one scary time for us.........as with everyone else who had to deal with it. Connie our other moderator had it .....They treated her with Chemoembulazation and Therespere, then they removed 1/2 of her diseased liver........She is doing well a couple of years later........Right now she it recuperating from hip surgery is why she has not been around much.......She is one of the most courageous women I know. Her story is remarkable.

If you haven't yet please read our educational post in the Resources thread at the top of our forum. I really does have a lot of good information about liver disease..........

Again welcome.....thoughts and prayers...........
