I had revision surgery to my rt. artificial hip on Aug. 12th. It went well, and I was transferred to inpatient rehab at Life Care Center on the 15th. I spent a little over 2 wks. there, receiving intensive therapy 3 hours a day. I just returned home yesterday. I am scheduled to begin outpatient rehab there on Wed. It will be 3 days a week for a month, though I'm not sure that I will do it that long.
I moved to a new apt. at the beach a week prior to surgery. I found out that I cannot access AOL highspeed here, so am having to switch to AT&T. However, I have not been able to set it up yet. For now, I'm getting online with AOL dialup, but this is the first time I've been able to access any online site. Also, I am limited to 10 hours a month through this connection, so I will not be able to post again until I can get my AT&T working.
Just wanted everyone to know that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth and that I have been thinking about all of you. I spoke to Pink Grandma while I was in rehab and she updated me on some of the members. JoAnn, I am so thrilled that Jerry finally got a liver. I hope he is doing well.
Thank you to Shelly for helping out in my absence, and to Pink Grandma for her contributions, despite her working full time, with a long commute. I hope to be back with you all on a regular basis soon.
