Did anyone ever have or see someone with blue toenails? I have 1 toe on each foot under the nail that is blue. I didnt drop anything on it or bump them. Its really weird. I was thinking circulation, but was wondering if it could be from my liver problems?????

DeeDee, I have Raynaud's disease, in which some of my fingernails and toenails (and surrounding tissue) turn blue when I am chilled.  It is a circulatory disorder.  It can also be indicative of heart disease.

Hugs,

Connie

Connie,Thanks for the information. I was thinking it might be a circulation problem. I also get white spots on my legs, Its as though I lose the coloring of my skin pigmentation. When I put my legs up for awhile the color comes back. Does this happen to you? I hope your feeling well.

Thoughts and prayers......

DeeDee

DeeDee, the symptoms you describe are indicative of a circulatory issue. It should be brought to your doctors attention.

The blueness with me happens when I get chilled.  It is the Raynaud's in my case.  When I warm my fingers/toes, the blueness goes away.  I don't know if you have Raynaud's, but as Shelly said it does sound like a circulatory problem.  I don't have white spots.  Please mention this to your doctor.
