Thanks, DeeDee.  Back when I was drinking, I loved holiday weekends because that's when the "amateurs" would be getting drunk and nobody would notice my drinking.  So it could be a rough weekend for you, in terms of your husband's drinking.  Just get up and go out, if it becomes too much.  Take care of YOU!

Hi Connie,you were right the weekend was bad and I did leave,went with my sister until 930,then went home and went to bed. I actually slept pretty good.

Today was better we talked when he was sober and he agreed he is going back to meetings. Cross your fingers for me/him.

DeeDee, I hope he follows through with meetings, and also gets a sponsor and the reading material, and really immerses himself in AA the same way he has immersed himself in alcohol.  It has to become his life and take prescedence over everything else for awhile.  That is the only way he (or any alcoholic) will succeed.
