My mom passed away on Friday - 26 weeks in the hopital, 15 post transplant (transplanted after 11 weeks there).  Wasn't the liver - it was functioning.  Just could not fight off the infections.
I am greatful for all of the help and support.  God bless you all.

Child4, my deepest condolences.  It's always so sad when a transplant goes well, but something else (infections, loss of kidney function, etc.) takes them.  I am so very sorry.  I want you to know that you are welcome here anytime.  Perhaps, in the future, your experiences can help others and your loss will not have been in vain.

Hugs,

Connie

As Connie said it must be so hard when the transplant goes well but the infections take them.  I am so sorry for your loss too.
