Does anyone know the stats on the percentage of people with HCV, Genotype 2 that has been on combo therapy for 24 weeks and have a relapse? I know everyone is different, but, I am just wondering if the number is high or not. Thank you!  All my thoughts and prayers are with all of you that have this dreaded disease.....

The CDC (Center for Disease Control) stats are that 8 out of 10 people with genotypes 2 and 3 clear the virus with the combo treatment.  In those with genotype 1, only 5 of 10 clear the disease.  I do not know about relapse stats for genotypes 2 and 3, but they do have better success rates with treatment than genotype 1, of which 50% relapse.
