I've just read thru most of the postings here and first I want to express my sympathy to all of you who have lost loved ones or are going thru such a tough time. My mom was diagnosed with cirrocis of the liver approx 8 yrs ago. Right now, she goes from hospital to re-hab to hospital, back and forth constantly. My dad passed away this past March and I really think that he was what she was living for as she was his caregiver. He suffered from diabetes, congestive heart failure, etc. Now it seems as if she can't fight her own disease any longer. Her legs have been swollen and she suffers from excruciating pain from that. The dr's are givingher percocet for the pain. Her ammonia level see-saws back and forth. I just got a call today from re-hab saying that she's very confused and doesn't know where she is. That last time this happened was in the hosital where she was very close to slipping into a coma. They gave her the enemas to help rid her body of the toxins. So right now, as I type, I'm fighting to get her back into the hospital immediately. After I read all the postings here, it helped me to know that there are unfortunately, alot of other people going thru this terrible hardship, but it does help to talk and share.Any comments or ideas would be welcomed!!!
Fiance had HCV, cirrhosis, ESLD, ascites, and portal hypertension. Was transplanted June 2004. Now, on interferon and ribavirin. Hepatitis C is back.

Hi Adlady16. My name is Dave Kazda; I am a healer, which I do free of charge.
A way to dramatically improve the health of one with any liver problem, including cirrhosis, is to take Milk Thistle. Very regularly. This herb is multi-functional. It works on cleansing the liver, and will rebuild it. Fresh beet juice is wonderful for the liver as is Chlorella powder. Dandelion is also good.

Wishing you a prosperous and healthy life,
p.s. When the cause of illness is known, the cure is obvious.
